Phoenix February Newsletter

Having been part of the MTI journey from the very beginning, I’ve witnessed firsthand how our product has evolved over the past 20 years.  While its continually adapted to suit industry needs, now is the time to reimagine what the mobility platform of the future looks like.

Our industry has undergone major shifts in recent years, with more on the horizon. We’ve learned a lot from our customers – each running unique businesses, competing in different ways, and having distinct needs. Now, as part of a global company deeply embedded in the taxi industry, we have a unique opportunity to not just understand these challenges but to build a revolutionary solution.

It’s exciting to see the incredible work being done by our product, UX and technology teams to shape the future of mobility.  I look forward to bringing you on this journey and providing you regular updates through our monthly newsletter.

Warmest wishes,

ComfortDelGro

A strong backing for our future

It’s been an exciting year for MTI.  In April 2024, Comfort Delgro Australia (CDC) acquired A2B Australia, including MTI, marking a significant new chapter for our business. As part of the global Comfort DelGro (CDG) group – a leading multi-modal mobility company – CDC is committed to delivering positive, sustainable journeys across key markets. With a strong presence in various mobility sectors, CDG continues to innovate and shape the future of personal transport.

The acquisition of Addison Lee, a leader in London’s premium taxi market, in November 2024, further underscores CDG’s commitment to the investment in the personal transportation industry.

Taxi is clearly in the DNA, with the group now operating 34,000 taxis globally. This provides us a unique opportunity to share best practise knowledge from around the globe both from an operational and technology perspective.

Even more exciting is that we now have access to global technology, strengthening the new mobility platform we’re developing – with 100% commitment from CDG.

We are excited for what’s ahead and look forward to driving the future of mobility together.

A2B Tech Team

Building something great

Our Tech Team is making great progress and have collaborated with external consultants and Microsoft to develop a scalable, cloud-native design for the new dispatch system.

A new development team is in place and growing as work ramps up. Right now, a key focus is finding a mapping partner that can deliver a modern, cost-effective solution to support the many ways mapping is used in an end-to-end dispatch system.

We’re also working closely with Microsoft to implement a modern and secure cloud-based identity management solution.

Customer service operator

Designed for you

We’ve developed a set of key personas that will benefit from our new platform—Demand, Network, and Supply. These personas represent the different stakeholders within the mobility ecosystem, each with their own unique challenges, priorities, and opportunities. By deeply understanding their needs, we’re ensuring that our platform is built to deliver real, tangible value where it matters most.

Next month, we’ll shine a spotlight on the Network side, exploring who we’re helping, the challenges they face, and how our platform is designed to support and empower them. Stay tuned for insights into how we’re making a difference for those at the heart of the mobility landscape.
